Once you have placed your order on the HolodeckHeads website or via any other platform, you will have a cancellation period of 28 days to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order IF you have NOT uploaded any photos on your account. The cancellation period will expire 28 days from the day on which you placed your order. If after the 28 days have lapsed, then HolodeckHeads will happily give the customer a unique gift code which will be redeemable within the remainder of the 6 months from the date of original purchase. All orders placed need to be completed within a 6 month period.
Due to the custom nature of the Holodeck Head, once your images have been accepted, we will not be able to offer a refund. Once printed, we will not be able to offer a refund. In the event that your head is damaged or you are sent the incorrect head by mistake, we will issue a reprint and post it to you at no extra cost. Please don’t destroy or throw away any product, even if it’s faulty, before you’ve spoken to the seller and agreed that doing so, won’t affect any refund you may be entitled to. Please note that you are liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from the handling of the product in any way other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product while you are responsible for it (this includes, in the context of a return, when the product is in transit back to the seller). Once you have received your order, any issues or complaints need to be reported within 7 days of receipt of goods. If not reported within 7 days of receipt of goods, we cannot accept any responsibility.
Gift Vouchers ordered through our website will be delivered automatically by electronic means to the email address you specify at the time of order and are redeemable within 6 months from the date of purchase. Our Gift Vouchers include unique numbers and configurable patterns. Gift Vouchers must be redeemed on our Website, as full or part payment of products from our Website. A Gift Voucher cannot be used to purchase a further Gift Voucher. When ordering a Gift Voucher, you should ensure to enter the recipient’s email address correctly. We cannot be held responsible if the address is entered incorrectly and someone other than the intended recipient uses the Gift Voucher. Site offers and promotions (including gifts with purchase and discounts) do not apply when purchasing gift vouchers. Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. Gift Vouchers may only be redeemed against products purchased in the same currency as the Gift Vouchers. Where Products purchased online with a Gift Vouchers are returned, monies owing will be refunded by a Gift Voucher. We are not responsible if a Gift Voucher is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission and no replacement will be provided in these circumstances.
Privacy and photos
All photos when uploaded are held in your secure account area, no other member of the public can access these images without your log in details. We hold onto the images for an estimated 90 days and then if no additional need for them arises, (reprint or new purchase) they are removed permanently.
At any point in the process, you can delete your images by logging into your account and selecting delete for each image. Should you wish to have your entire account deleted, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and a member of our team will fully remove your account and all linked information.
The time it takes to receive your item will depend on a few factors, one is the production time of the item itself and the other is the shipping. The production of the models (heads) varies depending on how fast your images are uploaded and if they are accepted first time, at present this is estimated at 2-4 weeks.
The shipping itself will depend on your location, standard shipping within the U.S. is as little as a 3-5 days, however, it can take longer.
HolodeckHeads cannot be held responsible for late delivery of your order (due to postal delays or strikes) or your delivery address being incorrect (as ‘you’ the customer will enter your own delivery details). In the event that orders are returned to us that have been incorrectly addressed, we will happily resend out the order at a cost to you of $6.00 to cover the postage and packing.
Express shipping can be arranged via email and you will be responsible for the cost.
The standard packaging is a brown outer envelope with bubble wrap inside, this has proven to be both safe and efficient, for larger and custom orders we may arrange custom packing.
